BJJSG was named as the 2nd Best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu School in Singapore in a recent article featured on Yahoo! Singapore Sports, along with other well-known academies.
An excerpt from the article:
"Singaporean BJJ black belt Jason Quek is arguably Singapore's greatest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu pioneer. He launched Singapore's first and longest running Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in 2006 during a time when there was almost zero interest in the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In fact, there were fewer than 5 blue belts in the entire country in 2006. Today, his school is regarded as one of the finest competition schools in Singapore. BJJ Singapore also has a good No-Gi program since Quek is well-versed in BJJ with and without the Gi. While Quek is the primary instructor, he does have some of his top students helping out to teach classes too. Classes run 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday) with a focus on evening classes."

"Singapore's first home-grown BJJ black belt Jason Quek is the founder of BJJ Singapore. Since 2006, Quek has been grooming cohorts of youngsters into BJJ practitioners, helping to develop the sport from the grassroots level. BJJ Singapore's facility is ample and spacious, complete with training equipment and space for strength and conditioning as well.
Having worked his way to the top of the belt rankings, Quek not only focuses on introducing BJJ to beginners, but also lends his time towards teaching and cultivating future competitors who can represent Singapore on a world stage."
